Dual Baby Monitor
If you've shopped around for baby monitors then you've probably noticed that most of
them come with two receivers. You may have asked yourself, "Do I really need a dual baby monitor or will I be
alright with a single receiver."
As a mother of 3 myself, I strongly suggest you pick up a dual baby monitor. It only
costs a few dollars more than a single receiver system and its worth it. With dual receivers you can leave
one upstairs in your bedroom plugged in and ready for night time while you carry the second one around with
you during the day. Or you can keep one and give the other to your husband so you can both listen for baby's
cries. Or you can just keep the second receiver as a backup in case the first one is lost or
breaks.
Dual Baby Monitors for Multiple Children
In addition to infant monitor systems that have two separate receivers, there are
also a few models that have two separate transmitters (both audio and video). This is perfect for parents
with children in different rooms.
BebeSounds Portable Color Video and Sound Monitor with 2 Cameras lets you
get things done around the house and keep an eye on both of your children all at the same time. It operates on
either AC or battery power so you can move freely about the house and still be able to see and hear your baby.
It has an LCD screen with infrared night vision with a dual scanning feature that lets you shift from one
camera view to the other every few seconds.
Whatever you choose, you should know that having two receivers or transmitters is
completely optional. If cost is a concern then you can rest assured that you'll manage just fine without a
dual baby monitor.
